Kids love downhill/alpine skiing! And they often manage it from young age because of the modern (and esy-to-andle) alpine skiing equipment we got today.
But make sure to choose alpine skis in right length for the kids. To long skis (or far to short skis) can simply kill their joy and enthusiasm! So let us help you determine your Kids' Alpine ski length below...
How to Determine Kids' Alpine Ski Length?
By Height Measurement:
Body height is used to determine kids' correct alpine ski length. Place your kid with his/her back against a wall and his/her feet together, looking staight forward. Place a book or a ruler on the top of the head and push it against the wall (make sure it is hoizontal). Measure distance from the floor and up to the book/ruler, etc. Determine your kid's alpine ski length from our ski length chart below.
In the store:
If picking up your skis in a physical store, place one of the skis in front of your kid, with the tip pointing against the kid's face. The ski tip should reach about the are between the lower neck and the chin.
