When it comes to shirts and blouses, it is not only important that the garments fit your torso and bust. To get the perfect fit, it is also of great importance that the sleeve length is correct. Especially when it comes to shirts and blouses with long sleeves. What sleeve length style to choose? See our Sleeve Length Guide.
In the US Shirt Size Chart below, you easily determine your shirt size from your bust, waist and arm (sleeve) length measurements. But how to take these measurements? Let us show you...
How to Measure Shirt Size?
The key to determine correct clothing size, is taking correct measurements. It is important to know exactly how to measure your body, and to do it carefully.
Bust: Measure circumference around body over the fullest part of the bust. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel with the floor all the way around.
Waist: Measure circumference around body at your natural waistline. Your waistline is the narrowest/slimmest part of torso (see illustration above).
Arm/sleeve length: Measure from the back of your neck. Measure via your shoulder and elbow. Stop at your wrist (where you want the shirt to end). This is your sleeve length. Note that sleeve length is best measured by another person.

All measurements in inches. For measurements in CM, please see Shirt Size Chart in bottom of this page.
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we recommend to select the larger size (but you may try both sizes on if possible).
