Jeans Length Styles:

Jeans Lengths
Bootcut Jeans
Jeans end past the ankles. Perfect for wearing with heeled shoes.
Leggings length, inseam:
34-35 inches / 86-89 cm (regular length)
Regular Jeans Length
The most usual jeans length style. Legs end just over or below the ankles.
Leggings length, inseam:
31 inches / 79 cm (regular length)
Cropped Jeans
Leggings end between ankle and calf.
Leggings length, inseam:
26.5 inches / 67.5 cm (regular length)
Capri Jeans (3/4 Jeans)
Jeans end mid-calf. Also called 'three quarter jeans'.
Leggings length, inseam:
24 inches / 61 cm (regular length)
Comes in different lengths. Inseam (leg length) is usually about 2-3 inches or shorter.
Leggings length, inseam:

2-3 inches or shorter

Rise Styles

Rise is measured from crotch and up in the front of the jeans.

Super Low Rise Jeans
Jeans sit on the hips
Jeans Rise:

3-6 inches, 10-12.5 cm
Low Rise / Low Waisted Jeans
Low Rise Jeans will sit low on your waist, more on your hips
Jeans Rise:
6-8 inches / 12.5-20 cm (regular length)
Regular Rise Jeans
Regular Rise Jeans will sit a place between your hips and your natural waistline.
Jeans Rise:

8-12 inches / 20-30 cm
Mid-Rise / Mid-Waist Jeans
Sits around your belly button area, or just under your belly button
Jeans Rise:
12-14 inches/ 30-35 cm
Very High Rise Jeans
High waist jeans sits above your belly button
Jeans Rise:

Above 14 inches/35 cm
